Yes the title of the movie itself makes clear a lot about the theme of the movie that it is all about the stars of every family.  In a family the kids are the true stars of parents' eyes. every parent have a dream that  their kids will expand their horizon from the eyes of their parents to the eyes of whole world and make every effort to realize that dream.  but these days one misconception among parents is seen that if they are able to earn a lot of money and put that money on the disposal of their kids they willl be able to accomplish good carieers or be outstanding in some field and in this mindset they concentrate only on making money and pushing their kids towards No. 1 slot and tend to ignore the immotions and creativity factor among their kids.  Here  the movie 'TAARE ZAMEEN PAR' have makes a point and shows a caution sign to such parents and makes them think  are they not pushing their  kids to a rat race where only thing counts is how fast their kid can run and nothing else counts. 
    Aamir Khan has done a lot for the society especially for kids who want their parents to understand that they are human beings that too soft like flowers who can one day shine like stars on the sky of society but provided due respect is paid to their immotions, their interest of creativity and all they need is the support and this feeling that their is someone who cares for them.  They want to set their own targets and follow them and dont want to be just tools of realizing their parents' unrealized dreams or status symbol to their parents.  Although the kid around whom the story revolves has been shown as a special kid needing special treatment still i feel all kids have their own area of interest and should be supported to excel in that area only.   important is mastering an activity and showing strength in any field of life not being a average participant of each and every field.
    As far as the movie is concerned this is a masterpiece by aamir and a must watch for every parent apart from entertainment it contains a big message that tell your kids we care and whenever you want support we will be there and set them free like birds let them spread their wings and touch the sky and watch them shine  like stars.  Kids are budding stars ready to shine in the sky and till these stars are on the earth of your home nourish them.
